Journeys by JJ
Hi, I'm James, the face behind Journeys by JJ and an Independent Travel Expert with a genuine passion for exploring the world and helping others experience it too.
I've been fortunate enough to travel to over 35 countries across five continents, including spending a full year travelling the world. From trekking in the Himalayas and exploring the temples of Sri Lanka to island-hopping in Indonesia, discovering Japan and road-tripping across Australia, I've experienced everything from backpacking adventures to beautiful hotels and unforgettable bucket-list moments.
What I love most about travel is that there's always something new to discover. Different cultures, incredible places, unexpected experiences and, most importantly, the people you meet along the way. Some of my favourite memories have come from the moments I never could have planned.
That's the thinking behind Journeys by JJ. I want to help people experience more of the world, make lasting memories and enjoy travel without the stress of organising every little detail.
Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach holiday, a city break, a luxury escape, a cruise or a more adventurous multi-destination itinerary, I can help bring it together. I particularly enjoy planning personalised trips that go beyond the obvious, finding great places to stay, unique experiences and those little extras that can make a holiday special.
I'm also passionate about bringing people together through travel. Alongside arranging individual holidays, I'm developing hosted small-group experiences that give people the opportunity to explore new destinations, meet like-minded travellers and create genuine connections along the way.
Why should you book with me?
I believe planning a holiday should be exciting, not overwhelming. I'll take the time to understand what you're looking for, your budget and how you like to travel, then research and put together options that genuinely suit you.
You'll deal directly with me throughout, with honest advice, attention to detail and the reassurance of booking through the trusted Independent Travel Experts network, including financial protection and ATOL cover where applicable.
Whether you know exactly where you want to go or just need a little inspiration, I'd love to help you plan your next adventure.
Focus on the journey, not the admin.
